Fine and detailed Birket Foster landscape watercolour looking across a meadow by the Thames where sheep are grazing to the chapel of Eton college. The punt in the foreground carries wicker eel basket traps and in the sky a hint of sunset in the dusk cloud. In excellent condition, conserved, and glazed with artglass. Monogram lower left.
