Frederick James Knowles (1874-1931)
Frederick James Knowles was an English landscape and figurative painter. Born in Manchester, brother of George Sheridan, he studied at the Cavendish School of Art exhibiting widely including at the Royal Academy (1), Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours (48) and the Royal Cambrian Academy (19).
