A lovely observation of a spate river and Turner waxing very lyrical on the canvas reverse. The Leny is close to Callander and classic Trossachs Rob Roy country. Rob Roy surely got around Scotland. Then again so did Prince Charlie! He hid in so many caves around Scotland we are surprised he got away to France without pneumonia!
Good colour, condition and, as always with Turner's works, beautifully handled.
