Walter Langley (1852-1922)
Walter Langley is generally considered to be the originator of the Newlyn School as he took residence there first. He painted mainly in watercolour but some oils as well. Others in the Newlyn school tended to paint in oils. Walter Langley major paintings make very substantial sums.
