Beautiful pastoral landscape with sheep. This painting has a Royal Scottish Academy label to the reverse - No.3. Lingering Summer. Many are coming to appreciate Clark's works more and more and see him ranking as a great observer of animals.He did of course produce landscapes but his cattle and sheep subjects are not often bettered.
