Franz van Severdonck (1809-1889)
Franz 'van' Severdonck was a Belgian artist who was born and died in Brussels. A painter of landscapes, animals and also architecture, he was particularly recognised for fine, small panel paintings of farmyard animals, often alongside ducks on a pond.
